About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Economic Analyst to join our team and contribute to the development of our flagship product. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of economic, trade, and market data, coupled with proficiency in data extraction, cleansing, processing, and maintenance. The Economic Analyst will play a crucial role in deriving valuable insights through advanced econometric models and will need to be adept at utilizing programming languages such as R and/or Python.
Responsibilities
- Extract data from diverse economic, trade, and market sources using Python.
- Apply advanced econometric models to conduct analysis and forecasting for various research studies.
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on data from various sources, overseeing the end-to-end process from data collection to report generation.
- Collaborate with other departments to fulfil ongoing projects or meet data analytics requirements.
- Develop insightful dashboards addressing key economic issues across different domains.
- Contribute to the creation of research content for Arthashastra insights, focusing on topics related to economics and trade.
Qualifications
- A Master’s Degree or equivalent in Economics, Finance, or a related field is a prerequisite.
- Familiarity with Python, R, and SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Strong working knowledge of economic research, data analysis, and statistical techniques.
- Candidates can work on-site at our Hyderabad location.
